Belarus to become full member of International Resort Association.
By Vlada Karnitskaya: It was a real rush for trips to Belarusian health resorts in the summer. This year more than a million applicants have a rest in Belarus. 80% of them are Belarus residents. By the way, this year more than 600 hundred billion rubles were devoted to sanitation in sanatoria of Belarus. It is actually two times as much as in the previous year. The next year's budget is already developed - about 900 hundred billion. (Nikolai Mazur, Director of the National Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium Treatment) A two-week vacation in a sanatorium will cost Belarusians about $350 on the average. Children from the regions suffered from the Fukushima Accident spend their vacations at Belarusian health resorts. A special rehabilitation program for young visitors from Japan was developed under the instruction of the President of Belarus.
