First Community Antioch Baptist Church Women?s Ministry, under the direction of ?Carolyn Gaines, will hold its ?annual Women?s Day on Sunday, April 28 at 10 a.m. The theme is going "Beyond the Veil: ?Developing Christian Character through Prayer (2 Corinthians 13:12-18).
The church is located at 10860 Highway 3125 in Lutcher. Rev. Ferdinand Gaines is the pastor.
The guest speaker is ?Judy Ezidore, ?a member of Evergreen Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Nolan Albert. ?Ezidore? was born and reared in St. James Parish.? She attended Southern University and received a bachelor's in microbiology and chemistry, Masters plus 30. She's also a certified counselor. Ezidore has taught high school for 19 years and completed her 17th year as principal of Sixth Ward Elementary in Vacherie.?
?I believe and know the power of prayer and the need to trust God no matter what ?the situation is," Ezidore says. ?
Chairperson Denise Washington is asking all ladies to celebrate the day by wearing white with fuscia accessories. ??
