The annual ITWeb Security Summit will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre between 15 and 17 May 2012.? This event will feature presentations relating to trust, and the need to re-assess the standard approaches to IT security. This year?s theme is: ?Reinventing information security: When trusted technologies have failed.?
Speakers from around the world will be giving their expertise on the subject matter. Speakers will include Kenneth Geers from the US Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), White Hat hacker and researcher Moxie Marlinspike will also be one of the keynote speakers presenting at the ITWeb Security Summit. In addition, Dr Charlie Miller, principal research consultant for Accuvant LABS will address his recent AppStore ?hack? and Apple?s response to this. He will also tackle the broader implications this hack might have for mobile security.
